Pengembangan Program Pembinaan Profesi Dosen Dalam Meningkatkan Mutu Pendidikan Tinggi

Abstract

 This article aims to discuss the "Development of Lecturer Professional Development Program in Improving the Quality of Higher Education" Assessed through the study of literature. Therefore the nature of the research is library research. Data are collected and analyzed entirely from the documentation literature, writing in journals, and other relevant and still appropriate media. The results of the study show that: The quality of high education is determined by the professionalism of lecturers/ therefore, the lecturer needs to receive guidance and development. The success of the lecturer professional development is largely determined by the programs in the lecturer professional development. Professional development of lecturers covers the fields of teaching, research, and community service. The guidance for lecturer is directed for the knowledge development. The development of lecturer profession can be done through: pre-in service education, in service education , and  on service education.
